EFB Suite provides 4 core functionalities: 1. Operator and Aircraft Documentation Library 2. Electronic Journey Log and Electronic Hold Items List (HIL) 3. Flight Documentation (receiving dispatch prepared documents related to a flight and attaching documents to a flight) 4. Preparing and storing Mass and Balance Documentation (Loadsheet) 5. Units Conversions The Application connects to your company OMS server and syncronises the documentation on your iPad EFB with the server. This way you are always up-to-date with all manuals and documents. It will also provide alerts in case the EFB has not been synced for a predetermined period of time, if new updates are available, etc. You can monitor the status of all company EFBs. Electronic Journey Log allows you to remove the paper journey log and use your iPad instead. It will show you the total aircraft hours, cycles, APU hours, hours remaining till maintenance, cycles remaining till maintenance, open HIL items and display warnings in case there are expired HIL items. The system will display all journey log fields in red that have to be filled in the pre-flight and the post-flight phase. Commander (PIC) signs the pre-flight check and the post-flight using his access details and handwritten signature. Journey log format is customisable and can be different for each aircraft. It is downloaded automatically from your company OMS server. Loadsheet option downloads mass and balance database for your aircraft and allows you to prepare, email or store the loadsheet. It supports any aircraft type, from light single engines up to transport category. Either individual seats can be used, or zones can be defined, such as OA, OB, OC. The produced loadsheet is IATA compliant. Flight Documents option allows company dispatch or OCC to attach documents to a particular flight, e.g. crew briefing, fuel release, passenger manifest, GENDEC, etc. Pilots can see these documents on the iPad by selecting the relevant flight. Pilots also have the possibility to attach documents to the flight, e.g. filled OFP or fuel slip. Units conversion is simple and easy to use unit conversion calculator.
