This mobile app has been developed and published by the Ministry of Domestic Trade And Cost of Living Malaysia or KPDN under the 1Pengguna program with the intention to help all Malaysian consumers out there to become better buyers of products and daily items while at the same time helping them to reduce their spending and cost of living. This mobile app is integrated with the Infopengguna web portal and MyHarga System which is available at https://pricecatcher.kpdn.gov.my and is designed to provide consumers with an easy tool to check the daily prices of all the basic grocery items (480 items) at all stores and markets in all areas in Malaysia. With the app, together with minimal internet access, users can check on demand the prices of the items and compare them in just a few touches. Users can then can decide where to purchase the items based on their needs and convenience. Another feature that is available is a grocery list feature that allows anyone to create their own list of items to purchase and on demand, they are able to check which store or market location provides the best value for the whole list of items so that they become better consumers, shop at fair price stores and help them save money. Always be on the lookout for new features and functions that we will bring to the app for the convenience of all consumers out there.
