Self-Sovereign Identity technology enables you to manage your online identity without a need for dozens of passwords or a third party you need to trust. Just like a physical wallet in which you carry your ID cards, you can use the esatus Wallet App to gather credentials from public issuers like companies or agencies. Then, services can ask you to reveal parts of your credentials - which are called claims - to let you sign on to these services, just like a gatekeeper might ask you to show them your ID before granting access, or to check if you are qualified for a specific activity.
