The Essex Walks app is a wonderful walking guide app with simple to use GPS-enabled digital routes around our beautiful county. It covers over 200 amazing walks of between 1 and 14 miles throughout Essex and the surrounding areas. The walks on the app include diverse woodland adventures, peaceful riverside strolls, coastal walks full of nature and beaches, open countryside rambles and fun in the city parks. Detailed maps that track your progress are available offline - no internet signal required. The maps include contour detail that helps you to evaluate the difficulty of the walk before you set off. Filter the Essex Walks by woodland, waterside, hill walk and pub walk to easily find the walk that's perfect for your mood. After each walk, you can fill in the quick questionnaire in the app to feed back valuable information about the walk.
