This weather app presents meteorological data and information in Israel and The Middle East, updated online every few minutes. This app includes a rain radar on an interactive map, based on data from Israel Meteorological Service (IMS), but with a greatly improved display, and many features. You can show your location on the interactive rain map, choose a background map, change the level of transparency of the rain layer, and more. In addition, you will find our flagship project, code name "Suzie" - presenting current data in colored heat maps, showing the accumulated amount of precipitation for short and long ranges, starting at rain accumulation in the last hour, up to seasonal accumulation. The two-dimensional map is created by sophisticated interpolations of current data from hundreds of meteorological stations: IMS stations, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Water Authority, and privately owned stations. Moreover, the app presents high resolution regional model forecast. The user can choose the model, the type of data (temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, wind, predicted rain rate (reflectivity), etc.), the forecast range, and the altitude level (ground, 850 millibars, 500 millibars, etc.). New features will be added in the near future, such as video forecasts, additional models and data, and much more!
