Our organization is a proud member of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD), which allows us to influence global policies affecting the Deaf community. NNAD is built and led by the Deaf people themselves. The association is not politically, racially, ethnically or religiously orientated. Its purpose is to protect the social, legal, linguistic and cultural interests of all Deaf people regardless of their gender, age, affiliation, background or place of origin.
