"Base to Base Converter" converts both integer and fractional numbers to and from all bases between 2(binary) and 16(hexadecimal). Together with performing calculations, it explains the steps in detail. Conversion from base A to base B is done and explained in two stages: 1. Base A to base 10(decimal), 2. Base 10(decimal), to base B. Every effort was made to minimize numerical error when converting fractional numbers. Also available: Direct conversion with explanation of steps: * From base 2(binary) to 4, 8(octal), 16(hexadecimal); * From base 3 to base 9; * From base 4 to base 16(hexadecimal).
