Introduction 👋 This is an open source app, created to remember and manage events (and birthdays in particular) in a simple and effective way. The app contains some basic personalization options and an introduction, plus many animations and the automatic dark/light theme. Support and updates are guaranteed! Why should i use Birday? 😕 Well, I'll tell you 3 main reasons: ◾ It can help you to remember every event in the moment you prefer! ◾ It will cost just a few MB of storage! ◾ It's beautiful, full of animations and simple to use! Features 🎂 ◾ Simple event timeline (with removable images, grouped by month or alphabetically ordered), containing the next date and the name of each person ◾ Support for birthdays, anniversaries, name days, death anniversaries and other! ◾ Favorite/ignored system, to aggregate your favorite events and see more information, plus an handy note field ◾ Birthday / events from contacts or calendar import! Intelligent duplicate detection ◾ Easily delete, share or edit every event ◾ Customizable notification the day of the event or multiple notifications any number of days before! ◾ Light, dark and black amoled themes, full Material 3 Expressive / Monet / Material You support ◾ Selectable accent (system accent included on Android > 12) ◾ Fast and reliable search bar and type selector! ◾Quick glance row containing the events in the next 10 days! ◾ Yearly overview (basic or advanced), to see all your events in one screen ◾ Disable vibration and many more useful options! ◾ First introduction and beautiful animations ◾ Material 3 configurable widgets (minimal and complete) ◾ Auto import from contacts at startup ◾ CSV and JSON import/export Please note: the notification system relies on the Android OS resources, thus some manufacturers may cause malfunctions. The reason is that some Xiaomi, Huawei and Oneplus devices kill the apps instead of simply closing them, or block the automatic startup of the app process.
