"Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie was established in 1930 as an agricultural school. It started its educational process in January 1930 with two classes. In 1944 it became an intermediate college, followed by a teacher training class; this system continued until 1947. It remained under the supervision of the department of agriculture until 1944. Then it became under the supervision of the Jordanian Ministry of Education. In 1994, following the Oslo accord, the responsibility of Kadoorie had transferred to the Palestinian National Authority, and the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education administered it. In 2007, Kadoorie was given official approval to be the first State University in the West Bank in Palestine."
