The hardtail kit is designed to fit 1982-2003 Harley Davidson Sportsters.  It is constructed from 1-1/4" .120 wall steel tubing and 100% TIG welded.  The kit includes everything you need to complete the rigid transformation.  The benefit of hard tailing your Sportster is it allows you to keep a stock VIN, Avoiding difficult inspections and insurance issues that come with assigned identification numbers or "Special Construction" designations.
