Where To Go From Here will feature solo works from each artist as well as a handful of their collaborative pieces.  The exhibition will be on view from August 27 – September 19, 2021 with a virtual preview on August 26th and an in-person opening reception on August 27th, both at 5:30pm. RSVP is required for the virtual event. Mando Marie primarily uses stencil and mixed-media collage to create paintings that tether the viewer to a feeling of haunting nostalgia. Straddling a line between comforting and spooky, innocence and adulthood, life and spirit, her works find a real power in opposites and duality, evidenced by her twin and mirrored imagery.  Hyland Mather’s abstract and assemblage work features abandoned, discarded, or lost objects that have been rediscovered and made new again while maintaining an artifact-like status. In Hyland’s own words, “some lost stuff gets found again”. Throughout their careers as solo artists on the street, in galleries, museums and fairs across the U.S. and Europe, both Mando and Hyland have developed an intensely recognizable visual language that can be seen throughout thei
