The Nedbank Business Authenticator app provides an additional layer of security through two-factor authorisation when you access Nedbank products and services. When using your mobile device, your Nedbank Business Authenticator app is uniquely linked to your Nedbank ID, providing you with an additional layer of protection from phishing attacks and other online fraud. The app encrypts all communication between your device and Nedbank. On installation the app will request permission for the camera on your mobile device to be used for scanning QR codes. You will have to scan a QR code (or enter a signup code) to activate an account in the Nedbank Business Authenticator app. Whenever you wish to log in to an account, the app will provide a secure authentication channel between your mobile device and Nedbank by using a unique digital certificate placed on your device. With a simple tap, you can verify your identity and log in securely. Note: This app works only with certain Nedbank services.
