The PocDoc app works in conjunction with the PocDoc Lipid Test and can provide results in minutes, whereas the same test may take many days through a laboratory. Tests are provided directly from PocDoc and are not available for individuals to purchase directly. Whether you are providing preventative healthcare checks, wellness checks, or cardiovascular health screens, the simple PocDoc test can determine the concentration of all the three cholesterol types from a single finger prick (20μL). From these three types, a further two markers can be inferred (non-HDL, LDL) and TC:HDL ratio, giving you: • Total Cholesterol (direct measurement) • non-HDL (inferred calculation) • LDL (inferred calculation) • HDL (direct calculation) • Total Cholesterol/HDL ratio (inferred calculation) • Triglycerides (direct measurement).
