Your Mile High Aerotow Experience After your briefing, the instructor will help you into the aircraft. Friends and family are welcome to take photos or video and our ground team will make sure that they are looked after and kept safe. Once you’re ready, the trial flight will begin. After launching, your instructor will show you some of the landmarks in the local area. We are blessed with some beautiful countryside at Husbands Bosworth. During the flight you should be able the fly the glider under the guidance of your instructor, or you can simply choose to sit back and enjoy the ride while the instructor flies. You will be launched in a glider to 5200 feet MSL with one of our SuperMunk tugs. On occasion the level of cloud can affect the height that can be achieved - for instance the cloud may be at 4000' feet and we are prohibited to fly through it. CRITERIA TO FLY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE DEPOSIT FOR THE RESIDENTIAL COURSE, IT IS IMPORTANT FOR FLIGHT SAFETY REASONS THAT THE INTENDED RECIPIENT (THE PILOT) MEETS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA, AT THE TIME OF THE FLIGHT: ☑️ Height (between 1.52-1.88m) ☑️ Weight (maximum 95kg when dressed for flying) ☑️ Agility (able to get in & out of a bath unaided) ☑️ General health (you should be reasonably fit) ☑️ Other (you must be able to hear & follow instructions)
