The e-Houwiya application allows all Tunisians residing in Tunisia and abroad, aged 18 or over and holding a national identity card, to obtain a mobile identity and use it with ease, secure and simple way. The mobile id is linked to the citizen's unique identifier and is based either on the telephone device or on the telephone number for receiving verification codes. The verification codes are necessary in every online access and in every electronic signature operation carried out using the citizen's certificate and signature keys.
