This instrument is beneficial for students to utilize while training or working to earn their certification as well as an invaluable tool for inspectors working in the field. The built-in formulas range from the simple such as wavelength, near field, and beam spread calculations to the more complex formulas used for Snell’s Law, angle beam setup and AWS indication ratings.
