Frictionless Financial Services - SMC Limited, the regulated entity and provider of the services, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Financial Wellness, Inc. Power provides two different products. One is Salary Advance under the “Pay” module on the app and Loans under the “Borrow” module. Salary Advance - Access a Portion of Your Salary, Anytime Employees can access between 5% and 50% of their salary before the scheduled payroll date to cover urgent expenses. - No interest: just a small, one-time processing fee (4% – 7%). - Instant funds: users can transfer funds directly to their preferred bank account or mobile money wallet, or use their advance to pay bills directly from the app. - Repayment period: users can repay an advance over three months or earlier if they prefer. - No hidden charges, no rollover debt. Employee Loans at the competitive rates Power offers longer term loans based on your earnings information. We actively work to ensure our pricing is more affordable than other lenders and banks in the market! - Loan amounts: Up to UGX 10,000,000, based on affordability. - Repayment period: 3 to 24 months, with an optional 2-month grace period. - Flat monthly interest rate: 2.8% (subject to risk assessment). - Processing fee: One-time charge of 3.5% – 7%. - No hidden fees, no unexpected costs.
