Golf Time is an app that tracks your playing time. It can help you and your golf club to maintain the right pace of play. With Golf Timer, you can, according to Rule 18.2a(1)/1, also temporarily pause the search time, for example when allowing a waiting group to play through. Maximum 40 seconds for a player to prepare a shot is another rule (also applies on the green). If a threesome of skilled players reduces the preparation to 30 seconds, it would make a significant impact on round time. 10 seconds times 3 players having an average score of 75 strokes per player gives 12.5 minutes per player.
