Equitapp finds the estimated intrinsic value of any given stock using the DCF (discounted cash flow) valuation method. To do so, it derives the intrinsic value from data of four (4) required parameters. The parameters are the 5 year average Free Cash Flow, 5 year Exp EPS Growth, Discount Rate (expected return or cost of equity, purely subjective) and Shares Outstanding. Based on the parameters you enter, it generates an estimated intrinsic value for the stock and market cap. Description of the parameters are provided and how/where to get them, along with steps on how the calculations are done.
