IDENTIFY risk calculator vs EAU - Urology Kullanım & İstatistikleri

This is an app for clinicians and healthcare professionals to aid in calculating the cancer risk in a patient referred to secondary care with haematuria, without a prior history of urological malignancy. The app uses patient characteristics, based on the IDENTIFY study conducted by the BURST collaborative group, to calculate the cancer risk. The patient characteristics used to predict the risk are: Age Type of haematuria Sex Smoking history Family history of urothelial cancer Previous benign investigation of haematuria Urinary tract infection associated with haematuria episode Catheter use Previous pelvic radiotherapy Suprapubic pain or dysuria Anticoagulation This app is designed to be a tool for the clinician to aid their decision making in further investigations and the urgency of such investigations in their patients. It should not replace clinical judgment. The calculator also suggests risk categories for the calculated risk, based on less than 1%, 1-5%, 5-20% and more than 20% risk of cancer. These have been chosen by the BURST collaborative group, but may not reflect what the clinician believes to be the correct risk thresholds for each category.
