In this practice, a solution of potassium dichromate and another with sodium hydroxide must be prepared. For the development of this practice, the corrosive power of the hydrochloric acid used in a machine must be analyzed and the type of reactions (endothermic, exothermic and metal) that occur must be identified. The simulator recreates a chemistry laboratory with hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, water, potassium dichromate, a metal bar, a lighter, and a beaker, among other necessary elements.
