Amblio includes a parent-friendly interface with features such as: · progress charts, · eyepatch use statistics, · tracks best and worst day of the week for patching, · push notifications to remind you of patching, · a reward wheel for kids who did enough patch time, · the 5 key steps of patching explained, · helpful hints for patching, · suggestions for positive patching, · how to explain amblyopia to your child, · how patching therapy helps with amblyopia, · explanations on what different eyecare professionals do. We pledge 10% of the profits generated by the Amblio app to the Gift of Sight charity, Southampton, UK. Our infographics on the lazy eye (amblyopia) condition and its treatment have been endorsed by the British and Irish Orthoptic Society (BIOS). We understand how important it is to protect your child’s privacy. No identifying information about your child is stored on your device or elsewhere. The Amblio software is not intended for medical use and is not a medical device. Please consult a doctor if you or your child encounter vision problems or you suspect your child has amblyopia.
