Built by track racers for track racers, the Track Gear Calculator supports chainrings from 44 to 70 teeth and cogs from 8 to 20 teeth. It includes a speed/cadence calculator, and can calculate the next gear up or down using only the gears in your track bag. Want a bigger gear or a smaller gear? Track Gear Calculator works in reverse, too: just swipe the gear inches, and you'll get a new gear, up or down from where you are, using only the chainrings and cogs you have with you. You can also select from the standard 27" nominal method for calculating gears, or more accurate actual wheel diameters, and you can see results in either Imperial gear inches or Metric development.

Bicycle Gear Ratio App

Bicycle Gear Ratio App is a bicycle gear calculator. It helps you to find the optimal gearing for your bicycle and compare multiple gearings with each other. The gear calculator displays: - number of gears, - all combinations of given gearing system, - gear ratio, - gear inches and gear meters, - speed (mph and km/h), - comparison between different gearing systems. Wheels and tyre size can be chosen out of given list. There is a blank field RPM that you must fill out with revolutions per minute. Next you must choose number of chainrings and fill them out with chainring size. Last you must choose number of cogs in the cassette. You can fill out blank fields manually or can choose one out of given list - you can also customize it. You can compare gearing systems by clicking 'ADD BICYCLE' button and fill out the form.
