Drawing inspiration from wartime-era jeans, the 714 incorporates period-correct details that reflect the material rationing and production constraints of the time. Leveraging decades of experience in the denim industry, Resolute’s selvedge fabric is custom woven to exacting standards in Okayama, Japan. The mill reserves a single, old-fashioned shuttle loom exclusively for Resolute, resulting in an “old indigo” denim with a texture reminiscent of 1940s American-made jeans.
