Course Description+ Art Camp provides an exploration of a variety of visual arts media to develop campers' creativity and individuality. These young artists will be wire sculpting, painting, weaving, creating unique jewelry, drawing, pottery making, constructing mosaics, and creating weekly multicultural projects. Campers will have an hour free period choice each day and will also participate in all special events that are on campus. A healthy lunch, snack, popsicle, and daily swim are included in this co-ed program. Each week will be a different theme and have different projects. Although our specialty camps have a range of different aged campers all campers are grouped with other campers closest to their age. Our energetic and fully-trained staff are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. Meet Lisa Pohl+ Lisa received her Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art with a minor in Art History, from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Florida-certified Art Teacher that currently works at American Heritage in Delray. Lisa enjoys creating art with children while exploring various art techniques and media with her students. She loves to connect with each student and make them feel comfortable expressing themselves through art. She looks forward to a great summer of art at American Heritage Art Camp! Meet Hilary Mangel+ Ms. Hilary Mangel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Roanoke College and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. She is certified to teach art for grades Kindergarten through 12th. With over 10 years of experience in education, Ms. Mangel currently teaches at Verde K-8 in Boca Raton, Florida. She is passionate about fostering creativity and artistic expression in young learners and is excited to share her love of art with students at American Heritage School's A
