Produktinformationen Alphacools Aufsatz für die Laing D5 ist nun Mitglied der Eisdecken Serie und erhält ein Update. Seit Jahren ist dieser Aufsatz schon ein Maßstab. Immer wieder wurden kleine Verbesserungen vorgenommen. Das zweite große Update unterscheidet sich sowohl optisch als auch technisch in ein paar Einzelheiten. Das Prinzip: Auf der Unterseite ist Platz für die Laing D5 oder VPP655 und vorne bzw. auf der Oberseite Ein- und Auslass. Für noch mehr Flexibilität erhält die Eisdecke drei Einlässe und zwei Auslässe. Ein weiteres Feature ist die neue Halterung um der ganzen Einheit einen stabilen Stand zu geben und das optische Gesamtbild abzurunden. Optional ist auch die Montage im 3,5" Schacht möglich. Der Aufsatz kann mit Hilfe des als Zubehör erhältlichen Ausgeleichsbehälteraufsatzes zum kompletten Ausgleichsbehälter umfunktioniert werden welcher ebenfalls überarbeitet wurde. Diese Pumpe ist ideal für die Wasserkühlung von PCs und anderen elektronischen Komponenten geeignet. Die Gleichstrommotorpumpe ist mit einem elektronisch kommutierten sphärischen Motor ausgestattet. In einer Pumpe mit sphärischem Motor ist der einzige bewegte Teil ein sphärisch geformter Rotor, Welcher in diesem Falle auf einer Lagerkugel aus ultra-harter und verschleißfester Keramik aufliegt. Die sphärische Lagerung des Rotors bietet eine Vielzahl von Vorteilen: So ist eine Zunahme des Lagerspiels konstruktionsbedingt nicht möglich, die Pumpe wird stets gleichbleibend leise und ruhig laufen. Eine separate magnetische Schirmung ist bei dieser Pumpe ebenso nicht von Nöten. Das Kugelmotorprinzip erlaubt effizienten Betrieb bei exzellenter Performance. Alle Teile der Pumpe sind völlig korrosionsbeständig.
