SAFE SPACE RULES AT G LIVELAB Harassment is behavior that violates human dignity based on a person’s characteristics. Harassment can be racist or other hate speech directed at a group, as well as inappropriate or discriminatory treatment or sexual herassment. Tackling discrimination, harassment and inappropriate treatment is everybody's duty. All forms of harassment are prohibited at G Livelab's premises and operations. Addressing harassment is important. If you experience harassment or other inappropriate treatment, or are unsure whether it is harassment, you can always contact our staff. Our doorman is our customers' harassment contact person. We do our best to make our premises safe for everyone, and we're happy to hear feedback. - Respect another person’s personal space. Respect the right to self-determination. Do not touch another without asking permission. Remember, you can’t know another’s boundaries without asking them. Do not disturb anyone verbally, by touching or staring. Saying no means no. Also ask for space for yourself if necessary. - Do not mock, insult, denigrate, push aside or embarrass anyone with your words, behavior or actions. Don't laugh at another's mistakes. Refrain from judging appearance, gossiping, and maintaining stereotypes. - Do not make assumptions based on appearance or action. Do not make assumptions about anyone’s sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, socioeconomic background, health, or ability to function. - Give space. Try to make sure everyone has a chance to participate in the discussion. Also respect the privacy of others and treat sensitive topics with respect. - Listen and learn. Embrace new topics, people, and perspectives without prejudice. Treat every situation as an opportunity to learn new things and develop. - Apologize if you have intentionally or unintentionally offended others. Change your behavior if requested by another.
