Dari Urwah bin Zubair bahwa Abdullah bin Zubair memberitahunya bahwa: Seorang lelaki dari kalangan Ansar berselisih dengan Zubair di hadapan Rasulullah (ﷺ) mengenai aliran air di Harrah yang mereka gunakan untuk mengairi pohon kurma. Ansari berkata: "Biarkan air mengalir" tetapi Zubair menolak. Maka mereka merujuk perselisihan itu kepada Rasulullah (ﷺ) yang bersabda: "Irrigasi (tanahmu), wahai Zubair, kemudian biarkan air mengalir ke tetanggamu." Ansari menjadi marah dan berkata: "Wahai Rasulullah, apakah karena dia adalah sepupu Anda?" Wajah Rasulullah (ﷺ) berubah warna (karena marah) dan beliau bersabda: "Wahai Zubair, irrigasi (tanahmu) kemudian tahan air sampai kembali ke dinding di sekitar pohon kurma." Zubair berkata: "Demi Allah, aku pikir bahwa ayat ini diturunkan mengenai masalah ini. 'Tetapi tidak, demi Tuhanmu, mereka tidak beriman, hingga mereka menjadikan kamu (Wahai Muhammad) sebagai hakim dalam semua perselisihan di antara mereka, dan tidak menemukan dalam diri mereka keberatan terhadap keputusanmu, dan menerima (keputusan itu) dengan penuh penyerahan.'"
