Accomodations: We have four artist-in-residence options, housed on the second floor of our historic heritage house in Vernon, BC, Canada. 3 rooms, the Sermoneta, the Caetani and the Fogliano share an entryway, library, bathroom, kitchen and living room.  The 4th option, the Bassiano Suite, is a self-contained 1.5 bedroom suite, with a large bedroom, a writing nook that can be converted into a second bedroom, a kitchen, living room, bathroom, separate entryway and small outdoor deck. The Bassiano Suite is perfect for artists who want to travel with children/support/family and/or require privacy. There is also a private studio available for rent on the Caetani property, nestled in the backyard and surrounded by other working artists’ art studios. Description of our self-directed residency program Our Self-Directed Artist in Residency program provides artists (visual artists, writers, creatives and researchers) the ability to work in a supportive community environment of like-minded individuals, to share their expertise and vision, to inspire excellence and create work at the highest level in a nurturing and creative environment.  The artist is provided with accommodations (at a small fee) at the Caetani Centre.
