Through its comprehensive gift acceptance policy, CHF accepts gifts of cash, marketable securities, privately held stock, real estate, tangible personal property, cryptocurrency, and endowment contributions, subject to appropriate appraisals, legal review, and Board of Directors approval when required. Additional provisions address written gift and pledge agreements, donor-paid fees, valuation of gifts, IRS filings, endowment minimums, and the distinctions between pure endowments and quasi-endowments managed by Children’s Hunger Fund.
