Das in der M9-Entwicklung gewonnene Wissen und die technologischen Fortschritte wurden auf die neue S3 2023 angewendet, die die Früchte dieser monumentalen Bemühungen erntet. Mit neuen, hochmodernen F&E-Verfahren hatte sich Magico vorgenommen, den Lautsprecher S3 Mk II komplett neu zu gestalten, um hörbare Verbesserungen in jedem Parameter zu erzielen. Mit neuem Gehäuse, Treiber und Kupplungssystem erreicht die S3 des Jahrgangs 2023 weit mehr als die ursprüngliche Designvorgabe. Die in der neuen S3 eingesetzten Technologien und Konstruktionstechniken erzielen eine Klangreinheit und eine gemessene Leistung, die die Erwartungen der Entwickler deutlich übertroffen hat. Die neue Magico S3 sprengt die Leistungsgrenzen für einen Lautsprecher seiner Klasse. Gehäusetechnik Die neue S3 verfügt über ein Erscheinungsbild, das gleichzeitig verfeinert und verstärkt wurde. Mit einem völlig neu konstruierten Gehäuse, das aus vier separat extrudierten Aluminiumplatten mit einer Dicke von 1,25 bis 5 cm zusammengesetzt ist, ist das Gehäuse der S3 gelinde gesagt ambitioniert. Jede Aluminiumplatte, inkl. der vorderen Schallwand, wird sorgfältig bearbeitet, um einen insgesamt kantenlosen Umfang anzunehmen. Die massive, obere Platte ist gekrümmt und hat zudem eine Aufwärtsneigung, um die Beugung des Gehäuses zu minimieren und vertikale stehende Wellen zu brechen. Eine noch dickere und solidere Grundplatte beinhaltet ein neu gestaltetes 3-Punkt-Auslegersystem mit einem neuen Fußdesign, das den Schwerpunkt des Lautsprechers senkt und die Gesamtstabilität erhöht, was zu einem niedrigeren Grundrauschen und einer erhöhten Dynamik führt. Das neue hauseigene 3D-Laser-Interferometriesystem von Magico misst jede S3-Gehäuseplatte mit bis zu 1000 Punkten pro Seite und berechnet die aggregierte SPL-Resonanz des gesamten Gehäuses.
