En la ciudad de Buenos Aires, la intervención urbana realizada por Bioma —estudio de arquitectura a cargo de Felipe Carrizo y Tomás Randrup— surge a partir de la reinterpretación de un objeto cotidiano profundamente arraigado en el imaginario porteño: el tradicional puesto de diarios. Bajo el nombre «Canillita», la propuesta recupera el valor simbólico de estas estructuras históricas y les otorga una nueva identidad como dispositivos contemporáneos de soporte urbano.El proyecto «Canillita» se concibe como una familia de piezas urbanas desplegables que, mediante envolventes curvas y móviles, se adaptan a cada contexto y a cada necesidad. Si bien los tres casos propuestos comparten una misma esencia, ninguno es idéntico: cada puesto se acomoda de manera particular a su esquina, a su edificio vecino y a la escala de su calle.
