Want to help inform the future of tech-based health education and get rewarded in the process? You’ve come to the right place! Welcome to SafeSpace, an app designed for an adolescent development education research study, conducted by Child Trends. SafeSpace is a youth-centered, honest, and judgment-free app for youth health. In SafeSpace, you can learn about topics such as communication, building healthy relationships, and birth control, as well as strategies for managing stress and finding answers to some of your burning questions about your health and relationships. And you can be rewarded for helping us test an app made just for young people like you! If you decide to participate in this research study, you will get access to either sexual health or general health content in the SafeSpace app. To participate, all you need to do is download this app, answer some questions to see if you qualify, use the app for 10 weeks, and complete a few surveys. Your participation in this study will help researchers better understand how to support youth in learning and living healthier lives. If for some reason you decide later that you don’t want to participate anymore, it’s not a problem!
