Welcome to TE MĀTAHI O TE TAU (7-11). 2022 is the first year that Aotearoa will celebrate the Māori new year with a public holiday. The purpose of this app is to explore Māori traditions and knowledge around the Māori new year period and the stars that traditionally herald it, Matariki and Puanga. Activities include exploring the stars, painting, drawing, story-writing, singing original waiata, meditation, puzzles, games and more. We hope you have fun using our app. Mauri ora!
