SomaWave Therapy (SWT) is the application of sound vibration which allows one to experience deep relaxation and peace of mind, either through the use of a Sound Table for a full body experience, or two hand-held Sonic Pods applied to specific parts of the body for more focused treatment. SWT is based on the principle of resonance – i.e. all matter will respond to a unique frequency based on its physical makeup and properties. The same holds true for the human body, in that muscle tissue, knots and tension respond or resonate to specific frequencies when applied to the body. The SWT App (iPad / iPhone) generates a Sinusoidal Wave, the same tone produced by a tuning fork or a crystal bowl, and is often referred to as the perfect sound wave because of its symmetrical and soothing nature. The signal is then amplified and sent to either a Sound Table or two Sonic Pods.
