There are several Finnic languages, and in this app you will become familiar with the Kven, Meänkieli, Northern Karelian Proper, Southern Karelian Proper, Livvi Karelian and Pepsin languages. The app shows you how words and simple sentences are written and pronounced. Word and sentences are chosen to visualise basic grammar. Words and sentences are also available in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Estonian, English and German. Pronunciation is also available in Finnish. By tapping on a word, you get the entry in a dictionary for the individual language if this is accessible. Translation to the Kven language is funded by Troms og Finnmark fylkeskommune in Norway / Romssa ja Finnmárkku fylkkagielda Norjassa.
