Lindab Vent Tools is a collection of practical calculation tools for ventilation systems in the HVAC industry. The app facilitates calculation of duct dimensioning, pressure drop, airflow and offset when installing Lindab’s products. The app also includes a k-factor calculator that can be used outside of Lindab’s product range. Duct calculator Calculates dimensions of circular and rectangular ducts by adding requirements of duct dimension, airflow and air velocity. Choose between two parameters to calculate the result of the third one. The requirements are defined by typing in each parameter or by moving the sliders for quick results. Offset calculator Calculates duct length, centre distance and construction dimensions for different offset situations; bend to bend, T-piece to bend and offset at the end of the duct (90° bend to bend). Airflow calculations Calculates airflow for Lindab's air valves, diffusers, plenum boxes, grilles and duct products. K-factor calculator Stand-alone calculator that can be used outside of Lindab’s product range. Insulation calculator Calculates the length and area of insulation needed to insulate a circular or rectangular duct. Thermal capacity calculator Calculates the thermal capacity of air.
