The ASRA COAGS app has been updated with a universal code base and a fresh new look. This subscription-based app is $6.99/annually or free with ASRA Pain Medicine membership. The app transforms the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine anticoagulation guidelines for Regional Anesthesia and Interventional Pain Procedures into a quick and easy reference for your practice. It provides rapid access to drug-specific summary information. This version combines the most current recommendations from two separate publications: 1. The 2025 guidelines “Regional anesthesia in the patient receiving antithrombotic or thrombolytic therapy: American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Evidence- Based Guidelines (Fifth Edition)” published in Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine. 2. The 2018 Interventional Pain guidelines from the publication “Interventional Spine and Pain Procedures in Patients on Antiplatelet and Anticoagulant Medications (Second Edition); Guidelines From the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the International Neuromodulation Society, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the World Institute of Pain” published in Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine. The app provides direct access to both the regional guidelines and the pain guidelines, also allowing you to choose a default and focus on your specific practice area. Regional Guidelines: 1.
