NotTiled is a free (no ads or micro transactions), open source, and multi platform tile map editor. It is based on Tiled Map Editor (https://www.mapeditor.org/) by Thorbjørn Lindeijer. What you can do with NotTiled: - Create/edit .tmx file on the go. Support lua/json/csv export. - Create custom maps for games that support .tmx maps. Eg, Rusted Warfare. - Create pixel images/animations for your game. - Create music using jfugue notation. Support midi export. - Create photo mosaics that you can show off to your friends. - Create 2D tabletop RPG map design. Support exporting to PNG. - Create silly platformer/rpg-styled mini games. - Create cross-stitch patterns from photos? (why not..?) - among other things...
