Radio Caroline started the UK's offshore radio boom in the 1960s, and continued to broadcast to Europe from the North Sea until 1990, defying storms and governments (most of the time!). We still have our radio-ship Ross Revenge, which is used for special broadcasts, but most of our programs come from our land based studios in Kent. However the spirt of the offshore days remains and our presenters continue to have the freedom to play a wide range of album music from today and all decades in the the station has broadcast.
