Skymate (formerly Local Weather - Australia) is a weather app for Australians that puts the key information all within one click. It provides the basics for easy viewing, with more detail just a click away. Current features include: - Current forecast including high/low for the day, current temperature, 'feels like' temperature, wind speed, Rain chance percentage, humidity and short & detailed forecast descriptions - Also available UV Index, Sunrise/Sunset times, Rain since 9am, Fire Danger, Extended forecast text, Wind Gusts, Predicted rain min & max mm, Recommended sun protection times - 7 day forecast including detailed forecast descriptions for each day including marine forecasts - Hourly forecast for the next 72 hours including temperature, predicted wind speed and likelihood of rain percentage - Rain Radar with the ability to move the map / pinch / zoom to quickly see other regions or see rain coming - Tide Times / Height - Weather warnings - Search for & Save locations for quick viewing - 5 different widgets - Weather Data available in the Notifications area - For widgets with time & date - clicking on the time will open the alarm app, and clicking on the date will open the calendar - Light/Dark mode - Offline access to the most recent saved weather data We are open to feature requests for the app. We can't guarantee we will add all of them, but definitely open to considering all suggestions! The app works on Tablets, but does not scale overly well. It is targeted at phones.
