Alertify uses the same system permissions as you alarm clock does, so you will not miss an alert notification, even with your device on silent or DND mode. The original use case was for home security. I wanted to be woken up if any of my Ring camera's detected a person during the night. For this I needed a specific time window for when the alarm should trigger and to be able to detect the keyword "person" in the notification to avoid simple motion detection.
