Strands is a daily word strands puzzle and strategy game where players aim to complete squares on a grid to make a word. - How to Play Connect letters in any direction—up, down, left, right, or diagonally—to form words. Your goal is to find all the words in the letter grid and score as many points as possible. - Game Rules Earn 1 point for each letter in a word. For example, a 5-letter word scores 5 points. Looking at the puzzle from different angles might help you find more words. - Using Letters After finding 40% of the words, you’ll receive a hint: a number on each letter, showing how many words begin with that letter. If there’s no number, there are no words starting with that letter. If a letter turns orange, it’s no longer used in the main words but may still appear in bonus words. - Hints Each puzzle provides 3 to 5 hints, represented by a lightbulb icon. When used, these hints reveal the first letter of a random word and the direction to start searching. You’ll get 3 to 5 hints based on puzzle difficulty.
