Kulu is a Fintech App that enables multiple innovative transactions and is designed for various segments such as individuals, agents, merchants, businesses, and many more. Kulu provides high security standards to all segments and prevents scams, fraud, anti-money laundering and complies to all AML & CFT standards. The Application targets Individuals, Agents and Entrepreneurs (Informal merchants). FOR INDIVIDUALS Kulu allows you to deposit, withdraw, transfer money, pay for goods and services safely by simply using your mobile phone, wallet number or QR code. The main transactions which can be performed by Individuals are: - Cash-In: Deposit money into your Kulu wallet at any Kulu Agent which you can locate through Kulu Agents' map. - Money Transfers: Transfer money instantly to your loved ones. With Kulu, you can send money to any mobile phone number registered or not. - Merchant Payments: Scan any QR code and make payments to moto-taxis, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, small shops, pharmacies, etc. - Cash Out: Withdraw money more easily through a wide network of Kulu Agents. There are 2 main Profiles (Tariff Plans) for individuals: Trial: This profile is granted after self-onboarding and allows transactions limited to GNF 50,000 with a limited number of transactions over a certain period. Basic: This profile is obtained after providing legal documents. Individuals need to submit the following legal documents to enjoy the Kulu App: National ID Card and Passport. FOR AGENTS Anyone who has successfully submitted their legal documents can become Kulu Agents. Kulu Agents get commissions while performing transactions below. - Cash-In: Deposit money into Individuals' Kulu Wallet - Cash out: Withdraw Money for Individuals These 2 transactions can be performed by using their phone number, their wallet number or by scanning their QR code. Kulu Agent can also get commissions by registering Individuals directly to Basic profile and by converting Individuals with Trial profile to Basic profile. Kulu Agents can be easily found through Kulu agents Map. FOR ENTREPRENEUR (Informal Merchant) An entrepreneur is an Individual who accepts payments via Kulu. An entrepreneur is a merchant or a business owner who has a registration number. If you are a moto taxi driver, a shop owner or you own a small restaurant, grocery store or a barbershop, you can apply to be a Kulu Entrepreneur.
