As part of its ongoing efforts toward digital transformation and administrative modernization, the University of Neelain has launched its new administrative system. The virtual launch event took place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and was chaired by Professor Elhadi Adam, the University President, with the participation of the University Registrar, the Director of the Center for Information and Communication Technology, the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Financial Administration, the Cheques Department, and the technical team behind the system.The system was fully developed internally by the University’s Center for Information and Communication Technology and marks the first step toward implementing a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, in line with the University's vision of becoming a "paperless university."Key Features of the New Administrative System:- Automation of administrative and financial processes.- Enhanced efficiency in managing human and financial resources.- Improved communication between university departments.- Provision of accurate reports to support decision-making.- Centralized system supporting monitoring and evaluation.Goals of the Digital Transformation at the University of Neelain:- Improving the quality of administrative and academic services.- Enhancing work efficiency and saving time and resources.- Strengthening the digital infrastructure and integrating systems.- Promoting transparency and accuracy in institutional performance.- Transitioning to a paperless work environment that supports environmental sustainability.During the launch, the University President praised the efforts of the technical team, highlighting the achievement as a model for utilizing national expertise and demonstrating the University's capability to lead its own sustainable technological advancement.
