The United Kingdom Maritime Pilot's Association (UKMPA) Mobile App is an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety. The App assists maritime pilots across the UK to notify relevant authorities, including the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), where non-compliance with pilot transfer requirements is suspected or identified. Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to the MCA via the purpose-built in-App Report Form, to assist with subsequent Port State Control activity in order to help save pilots lives. The App also contains a variety of useful information resources regarding pilot transfer arrangements for operational reference purposes. Users must agree to the User Agreement to gain access to the App. For further information, or to report technical issues with the App, please contact the App developers (App Wizard), via email to info@appwizard.com.au.
