“Yusan” Guide is Tokushima Prefectural Museum’s official guide app. Enjoy the museum’s exhibitions through app-only experiences. Available in English, Chinese (simplified/traditional), and Korean VOICE GUIDE Featuring VOICE GUIDE with overviews of the museum’s displays. Launch the app on your devices and go around the museum. You’ll be informed when you are near exhibitions that include voice guidance. You can also listen to the voice guidance by reading QR codes with your smartphone’s camera. AR SCOPE Read AR markers with your smartphone’s camera and investigate the secrets of the museum’s exhibitions. To find places to use AR SCOPE look on the museum app’s map or read AR markers. ・ Let's look inside puppets’ heads! At the museum, you can look into the insides of the heads of Japanese puppets using AR SCOPE. ・ Try the Fish quiz! Due to the effect of the warm Kuroshio Current, many types of fish and coral live in the ocean to the south of Tokushima Prefecture. Use AR SCOPE to try the Fish quiz. ・ The Shikoku Pilgrimage The Shikoku Pilgrimage goes around to eighty-eight sites connected to the famous Buddhist master Kobo Daishi (also known as Kukai). Use AR SCOPE to check information and see movies of places on the map. ・ See dinosaurs move! Many dinosaur fossils have been excavated in Tokushima. See what living dinosaurs were like using AR SCOPE. Door for VR The Door for VR takes you to special places that normally can’t be seen. Go through the Door to experience Tokushima’s history and culture. To find places to use the Door for VR, look on the museum app’s map or read display QR codes. ・ Burial Mounds Through the Door for VR, go inside the corridor-style stone chambers of two kofun, or “burial mounds.” Try to identify their differences. ・ Awa Indigo Sukumo is indigo dye.
