The app of the Kunstsammlungen & Museen Augsburg was created as part of the DIWA (The inclusive we in Augsburg) project with the kind support of the European Union and the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). Explore the Augsburg region in Roman times!
Augusta Vindelicum was the capital of the province of Raetia and the political, economic and cultural center of the region from Roman times until late antiquity. Eleven stations offer you a playful, interactive approach to Roman Augsburg and the city's surrounding area.
Immerse yourself in everyday life at the time, get to know different living environments and talk to the people! You can also experience the ancient world in today's surroundings at several locations - augmented reality makes it possible. If you are not on site, a virtual 3D mode is available.

- Interactive panoramas: Dialogs with characters (partly based on real-life models), exploration of different rooms and their multi-layered soundscapes
- Reconstructions of original buildings and monuments in augmented reality (if on site) or in virtual 3D mode (if not on site)
