Knowing the multiplication times tables is a basic skill that every child must have, and once learnt will stay with children for their whole life. Often there is no easy to learn, and children must answer times tables questions over and over again!

 Soccer Practice Times Tables is a football themed way to allow children to practice their times tables from 1 to 12. Questions are shown at the bottom of the screen, and children need to click on the answer on the number grid. Using a number grid allows children to see the pattern of numbers from their answers (for example, the 9 times tables forms a diagonal). The Options menu allows Soccer Practice Times Tables to be changed for different ages and abilities: the activity works both in English and Spanish; you can choose to have the sums answered in order, or in a random order; different times tables can be chosen by selecting different levels; and you can play a "Go for Goal" option where children need to answer all the sums within 60 seconds! Soccer Practice Times Tables is ideal as part of a range of classroom activities to help learning the multiplication times tables, as a "wet break" activity in school, or a short, fun activity for children at home.
