BioSeal Reader is a universal application for reading and validating Visible Digital Seals (VDS) compliant with the requirements of Otentik trust network. The application allows users to verify 2D barcodes (Datamatric and QR Code) meeting ISO 22376 standard, Otentik network extensions and BioSeal extensions. It is also compatible with 2D-Doc, the previous generation of VDS. The code encapsulates key data from a document according to the associated use case. These are electronically signed, allowing the BioSeal Reader to detect any tampering, confirm the authenticity of the data and the legitimacy of the issuer. When biometric verification is required, the app can also take a picture of the holder to check his/her legitimacy.
